Emily's Wedding

Three of us and our little bro, the times in TP, were all reminisced on her big day. Seeing how we have grown up. Carman's already a mummy and I'm her son's God mother. Sometimes, we dragged each days of our lives. Unknowningly, we all have grown old even not by looks but by age, and the thought is extremely scary. Seeing Isaac, my Godson, grown so fast from a little baby to 1++ year old, and soon 2 years old. Becoming old is life's natural process, most importantly, is to be happy. Just like the bride, Emily. Happily in love and now married. No longer a Miss but Mrs!

I have to admit it was a tiring day for me, helping out the entire morning and then to the dinner at Grand Shanghai, Copthorne Hotel. But it was all worth the tiredness.

Note: I ain't getting married yet even I've gotten the bouquet (Emily dearest threw the bouquet to my direction with her back faced us) during the flower throw. Joei bro, don't worry, you, Carman & Emily would be the first few to know if I am getting married. As for the Hen's night, we shall see but can do one post for Emily & Carman! *giggles*

After Dinner

Morton's The Steakhouse

I had the most wonderful dinner at Morton's The Steakhouse, The Oriental Hotel with C. Well, we might have been a little greedy, ordered too much (a soup, one starter, one side asparagus, dessert & wines to share, and not forgetting two mains). At that point of time, I was uncertain about the portion of Porterhouse cut I ordered.

The steak served to me was overdone, and the manager insisted me to change. The second steak was close to blu, ermm.. may be just close to rare. The seasoning on the steak was very tasty & delicious. It was HUGE for a lady, consisting of the fillet and the sirloin portion. :) The steak was juicy, leaving me speechless. Good service and great food comes with a price, whopping $350 for two.

I would love to visit there some time again. Anyway, the shot of the Warm Godiva Chocolate Cake I have taken during the first visit in April was not good. And now, the second visit's shot was also not well taken. So, I think that it's a good enough reason to make the third visit. *hint hint hint*

Chalet

The organiser had invited a few and I meant a few close frens to his chalet. There wasn't any occasion for this chalet. Jason simply said just chill, eat, relax and slack. Supposingly there was five of us but it became four, as one went MIA after Tom Yam Steamboat dinner. Well, it's good too; more Island Creamy's Reverso ice cream for the four *yum* and mahjong game only needs four kakis. :) Did not expect myself to 'tawn' overnight but I did, too tired. We played some games during the 'tawning' process, and I have indeed learnt that my PTL cannot play the game of seven multiples and yet suggest four multiples.

PTL disclosed something scary to me when we went out for a walk to catch sunrise. He said that he had a very scary encounter. He went downstairs to the toilet and sensed some discomfort. The moment he came out of the toilet, bright light streaks strike the area near his eye. He freaked out inside. No wonder he kept asking what time would indicate dawn. I felt no fear when he told me that scary encounter. Well, God is with us, who can be against us?
