Damage Done

It's been a month since my last visit in Phuket, I missed the times spent. Apart from chasing after Jim, my other found lover since two years back. Don't get me wrong, Jim will always be there for me to chase. I just needed to fulfill those requirements. I realised this trip I have spent too much time with Jim. Renting the car chasing after Jim was kinda ridiculous.

Three things I love about Phuket, the food, spa, beach, and of coz JIM! Hmm, that makes it four. Actually, there's more to love, the list just goes on. But the spa I tried at Thai Priviledge Spa located inside Central Festival, was excellent. Thank goodness for the discount, else it would cost Baht 3600 per pax.

Meanwhile, my next trip to Phuket would be with Su Jiejie, memories of our trip last year remain in me forever. Hope it's the same for you too, Su Jiejie. :)

Tried & Tired

I have tried my best not to be tired. Sad to say, my best isn't effective. Lately, I get worn out easily, body aches here and there. When I am at home, it's not likely of me to nap. But just this afternoon, I had to have a nap, as I was dozing off in front of the lappie. My intention was to have a short nap i.e. 30 mins. I wouldn't want my Sunday to be wasted by napping, I had housechores to do. In addition, I am gonna filter and clear off clothes from the stacks in the wardrobe.

I was woken up by a call, and to my surprise, it was already 5pm. I couldn't believe it, I napped for 2+ hours. Well, surprises would head in when one's too exhausted. Yes, it's time for housechores and wardrobe 'junk out' time.

Home Cooking

Cooking has been a de-stress activity for me. Apart from the 'auntily' kitchen smell, everything's wonderful. I do feel good after cooking.

May You Be Blessed Movie

I have received an email from a close friend. I am grateful for such a motivating movie, simple words that mean so much and beautiful pictures that speak themselves. It has been a great motivation for me during this turmoil.

A turmoil that slammed at me a week after my Phuket trip. No human can ever understand the sadness, pain, torment and fear in this difficult time. Even though it has not ended, I will continue to learn to be strong each day. In times like this, one will realise the importance of life and learn values that have gone unnoticed during good times.

I really hope this short movie will be of good encouragement to you too. I cherish all my loved ones and I pray the same for you. God bless you! Living is a blessing and you are a blessing. May you be the many Blessings to others!

Here's the link: We Send You Our Blessings

A hymn that currently keep ringing inside my head is from those chapel sessions back at PLMGSS.

Make Me A Blessing
Out on the highways and byways of life,
Many are the weary and sad;
Carry the sunshine where darkness is rife,
Making the sorrowing glad.

**Chorus

Tell the sweet story of Christ and His love,
Tell of His pow'r to forgive;
Others will trust Him if only you prove
True every moment you live.

**Chorus

Give as 'twas given to you in your need,
Love as the Master loved you;
Be to the helpless a helper indeed,
Unto your mission be true.

**Chorus
Make me a blessing, make me a blessing;
Out of my life may Jesus shine.
Make me a blessing, O Saviour I pray,
Make me a blessing to someone today.

KL - another food paradise

My Key Lifesaver and also motivation during the work trip in KL was simply food. Nothing could beat good tasting food after many hard days' work and a swollen left foot (worsened after the work trip, also due to excessive walking). After these 9 days and it's back to home sweet home, I have realised that I have some excess 'baggage'. Apart from the shopping, the excess baggage also refered to extra body mass. Oh my oh my, I am becoming rounder. *pouts*

Well, life goes on and I am happy. :D Selected several food pictures, as there are just too many to upload. Enjoy!

Union of Julian & Edna

Be Jul-Ed! A beautiful & simple wedding @ Sheraton Towers. Three things I remembered at this wedding dinner. First, the groom, Julian, who couldn't sing well, actually sang in front of all to Edna. Sweet and meaningful words. Second, the couple didn't want to have three yum sengs, only requested for one good and solid one. Lastly, the two minute non stop kissing on the stage.

Dinner was good. The Lychee Martini wedding cake tasted fabulous. *drools* Edna & Julian, as you both are stationed in States, take good care of each other. God bless this loving couple always!

Both start with F.

The two words that would be inter-related to me, Farewell and Fall. On the night TSC gathered for Pris & Sandys' farewell would also mark the afternoon I fell down. Oh well, I shan't say it is fated, hmm another word starting with F. *Pouts* I was at XXXXXXX restaurant for a lunch meet up + ROM invitation from my long time Perth galfren, and now Mrs Lee. Eileen, I am extremely sorry for not able to make it for your ROM @ Ritz, due to urgent overseas work matters. But I promised I will make it for your wedding in January. *Hugs* Happy Belated Birthday, sweety!

Thanks to you and Ixo for 'supporting' me to the clinic, luckily it's at Takashimaya same building as the restaurant, else I think I might as well faint due to the horrendous pain. I know it's super unglam that I fell at the restaurant but hello, my right side heel was stucked at the edge of the stairs, losing my balance. *Kar Poom* I landed on my knees in front of everyone in the restaurant but that wasn't the worst. My right foot hit the metal edge of the stairs, the impact on the left wasn't as bad. The pain was unbearable but I forced myself up. People around were asking if I am alright. I just limped my way out and put an 'I am ok' face front. When I was out, my tears just rolled down. I was in GREAT pain, I can see my right foot swollen and bruised. The 'unglam' fall reluctantly made me barred myself from the restaurant for at least two months.

Medication made my legs numbed, it's a scary feeling. Thank goodness, it's shortlived. In the evening, I pulled myself to attend the farewell dinner for the two fairies. Enjoyable night. I was unable to drive, so C got to drop by and send this pathetic gal home. :P

Special thanks to all who cared and helped me during this 'handicapped' period and also Doctor Poon for taking the pic at his clinic. Though not recovered fully, at least it is way much better. One last thing, Surin, you are missed!

Thanks, Dr Poon!
