Good bye & Hello

I felt quite handicapped when my camera died-ed on me. Of course, sad too, it has been through the 'thicks and thins' with me for a good long two and half years, all the eatings, travellings, gatherings, partyings, etc. Well, it's true that new things come only when old things go.

Do I have the techno-gadget attachment syndrome? May be not so. To me, camera-ing/video-ing is to capture the moments. Moments refer to life, nature, emotions, individuals/people, and wonders' beauty. Pictures would recollect the moments and memories, bitter or sweet, they don't matter, as each would worth a certain space in my life, a worthwhile life of learnings. So then is this a syndrome?

Gone Case

Handsome Little One

The Handsome Little Thaddeus, a mild tempered baby who is also easily pacified as well. Sounds of joyful & loud screams would be airing out from his small mouth when he is extremely happy and excited.

Realised that bringing a baby out for lunch is not easy, could be quite troublesome. Pram, car baby seat, milk bottles, diapers, etc. But luckily, Mummy Ixo has another helper, her maid.

We need energy after heavy exhausted playings with Thaddeus, so off we go to Dragon Phoenix Restaurant @ Novotel Hotel (previously known as Liang Court). And boy, over-orders are killers. LESSON LEARNT: Excitements of baby playings != Excitements of food orderings.

Pecan Pie & Honey Ribs

My very first attempt to bake Pecan Pie...... and it was a success! :D So glad it turned out nice but the sad thing is my mum's mixer die-ed. Oops, time to get her/myself another mixer.

As for the Honey Ribs, good stuff. Marination of four hours before baking. Anyway, the pictures would just sum it all.

A relief that my relatives and friends who tried the pie and ribs just loved them both. :)

Attempt with the Balls

Yes, yes! I had 30 (or almost there) attempts with the balls! Hey now, don't think otherwise. The ball attempts together with pins called BOWLING. :D I had 3 rounds of 10 games each (round scores: 1st - 70+, 2nd 130+ & 3rd 90+). Not bad for a 1st timer eh? :P

It was fun and hilarious for my gang and myself. Laffing off at my mistakes. Damn, forgotten who taught me to count the number of steps to reach the white line but it had to end with the left leg (for the right handers only). Was it ah lee or ah han (the cute chicken little)? Anyway, I had to count the number of steps in my head and also aim the ball to bowl to the centre for STRIKE! Result: The ball went down the drain. Conclusion: I am a focus lady, so multitasking is not my cup of tea. Instead, I can stay focus and STRIKE without counting the steps! Oops, and a few times, I ended with the right leg *giggles*

Great fun! Respect to my gang's energy level, they went for 2am show. I nearly died of exhaustion. Bowling's ball & pin-ly fun and tiring.
