Unpredictable
I am unpredictable..... yes, I am..... I like it that way... *giggles*
On wednesday afternoon (my last day with my ex-company) I decided I am leaving SG, doesn't matter where, I just wanna get out of SG. In a short span of less than two hours' time, I knew that tomorrow late morning I am flying off to Hong Kong! How exciting it is! Thanks to friends whom helped in getting last minute hotel accommodation. It was tough getting a room, as conferences were held and most hotels are full.
Touched down at about 3+pm and along my train journey, I met a new friend. She's from Guangzhou and amazing as it seemed. We had tea together and even shopped till evening, when she had to leave for Guangzhou. :D Thereafter, I shopped alone till 11pm, and goodness gracious I spent 3/4 of my HK dollars in 4 hours' time..... I know the next few days, I predict my card will be doing the talking......
I met my SG fren, Peekhui, who has been working in HK and she seemed glad to be in HK, fun and happening. :) If opportunity strikes, I wouldn't mind working in HK for a few years. Peekhui, thanks for offering your place but I managed to get a room.
Okies, back to the trip. Guess what, I even went to Hennes & Mauritz's (H & M) opening day on Saturday! Boy, it was packed and in order to get in, you got to queue! During this trip, I found Bass (a brand which I loved when I was in my teens; their shoes & sandals are superbly comfortable) but didn't manage to buy anything.
A trip without enjoying good food is a wasted trip. Dining at Cantonese, Malaysian, Shanghainese restaurants and local street stalls was definitely exciting for me, especially I appreciate the art of dining. And I didn't forget to buy the famous Hang Heung Lao Po Bings!
My legs aching, back aching, head aching and heart aching, as I burnt a big hole in my pocket. :S
I will post the pictures soon. :)
